PHOTOS: Placer County “Robbers” Wildfire & Command Post
SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 14, 2012 – California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) emergency managers and fire coordinators continue to assist local agencies battling wildfires in northern California Saturday. A total of 25 mutual aid strike teams from throughout California are assisting local and state fire agencies at incidents in Colousa, Lake, Napa and Trinity Counties. In total, there are 136 engines and 478 firefighting personnel providing mutual aid support. They add resources to local government agencies already fully engaged in protecting communities and battling flames.
