There’s a lot of helpful information online, including additional maps, photographs and incident information. If you’re affected by any one of these incidents, your first source of information should be your local city or county public safety agency or office of emergency services because they broadcast immediate life-saving information using a wide range of systems including the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on radio and television. Be prepared with a battery powered radio, emergency preparedness kit and a family emergency plan.
